A work belonging to the mature phase of Roberto Crippa’s research, in which matter becomes the absolute protagonist. In Meteorite, cork is transformed into a dynamic, vibrating surface, crossed by plastic tensions that recall the celebrated “Spirals,” yet with a greater material density.
The work is part of the artist’s experimental path between painting and sculpture, where the support is no longer a simple base but an active body of the artwork.
